I recently came across a captivating article on Forbes.com, called “35 Questions That Will Change Your Life” and one particular question, “Was today a day worth having and remembering?”, has been lingering in my memory ever since.
According to the article, determining the significance of your day can be evaluated by asking yourself the following three questions,
“What did I learn today? Who did I love? What made me laugh today?” written by Jason Nazar

In essence, the writer is trying to portray that even though your day may have been challenging, terrible or awful to say the least, IF you have learned something, loved someone & laughed on that day, then your day is one to remember!
This is a perfect example of how an optimistic frame of mind can change your life one day at a time by simply choosing to accentuate the positive experiences that are of the utmost importance to you.
In my opinion, the three determining questions to evaluate the worthiness of your day should be personalized & adjusted to your own moral compass & value system. It is important to embrace our individuality by deciding on what it is that we cherish & appreciate most about our day.
Keeping that in mind… Was today a memorable day for YOU? What are YOUR three determining questions?
Some food for thought… Looking forward to reading your comments!
PS: Was today a memorable day for ME? Yes, definitely! What are MY three determining questions?
- Did I accomplish at least one activity on my to-do list today?
- Did I experience joy, love or gratitude today?
- Did I discover beauty (concrete or abstract) in my day today?
With love,
Challa.
